Whitby Town FC players, staff and fans celebrated at the final whistle as a 0-0 draw against visitors Cleethorpes Town was enough to secure survival in the NPL Premier Division.
Taking it down to the wire in the last match of the season, the Seasiders toughed it out against a Cleethorpes side sitting ninth in the league.
Attendance was 670 and man of the match was goalkeeper, Shane Bland.
