For an astonishing 164 years the best of country life in and around the Esk Valley has been celebrated at Danby Show.
And, while the world is a very different place to it how it would have been in the late 1800s when the show first started – it is still as popular today and is a nod to the area’s farming history and heritage.
The schedule has classes for cattle, sheep, horses, fur and feather, produce and handicrafts as well as sheepdog trials and vintage vehicles.
Photographer Ceri Oakes was at today’s show capturing the action. If you would like to purchase any of these pictures please drop us a line at info@thewhitbyanchor.co.uk
